On Aug. 23, 2020, my boyfriend at-the-time, grabbed me by the throat, choked and pushed me during an argument in my home. Three days later, and with the support of my family and friends, I went to the Wallingford Police Department to report a domestic violence incident. I'd like to say a special thank you to Officer Grimaldi for assisting me with a restraining order and being a wonderful resource to the community during my time in need.

 

Sept. 2020, I had created the original "Spooky Shirt" which was an oversized comfy sweatshirt with skeleton hands holding pumpkins.  My goal was to sell 50 shirts, with proceeds going to the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence. I sold 106 shirts and together we raised $592!

In 2021, I created the "Rock On" Sweatshirt. My goal was to raise $1,000 from shirt sales and donations. Together we raised over $1,800 for domestic violence awareness!

This year, we have several new spooky collections for my 3RD ANNUAL SPOOKY FUNDRAISER FOR DV AWARENESS! I can't believe it's been 3 years! This year, I would love to raise $2,000 in funds for DV resources!
